"Our experience working with Jason Hart's State Farm insurance company started out as a positive experience, but ultimately turned into a very frustrating and dissatisfying experience. We worked with Paloma Martinez. She was very quick to respond to questions, provided multiple quote iterations, and was patient with us while we reviewed quotes from multiple providers. We decided to proceed with State Farm for our home and auto insurance, because based on the information provided, they had the most competitive rates along with the best coverages. After submitting all the required paperwork to the underwriters, Paloma notified us that we were ok to cancel our current policies. We also needed to provide the policy declaration page to our mortgage provider to pay the new home policy premium. We completed these steps and thought everything was finalized. A few days later, she notified us that the underwriters did not approve our roof material. Subsequently, the home policy premium would increase by $1,300/year. That was a significant increase to us that was never communicated throughout the process. I don't understand why were told to cancel our current policy and pay the new premium, when it wasn't even approved by the underwriters. Now we have to go back to our old insurance company and get our old policy reinstated and work with our mortgage company to get the premium payments sorted out. It's a big mess!"
